Install Hotfix for WSS(KB974989 x86) ERROR:The expected version of the product was not found on the system

ERROR:The expected version of the product was not found on the system

 

when i installed Hotfix for WSS(KB974989 x86),i run into error.

 

But when i installed it into my colledge's pc,it is installed successfully.

 

Then i found the reason,i have installed language package before this installation.

 

firstly,i uninstalled language package,then install hotfix for wss3.0.it's ok.

 

 

The reason:Firstly installed language package.
