在CentOS8上使用阿里云YUM源时遇到元数据下载失败和仓库重复配置问题。由于CentOS8已停服，升级到8-Stream版可解决。通过删除旧的.repo文件，下载新的源配置，然后执行yum makecache生成缓存，成功安装git。
