General Summary:
The objective of this position is to maintain and enhance all possible visual areas of the company web sites, in addition to creating and coding new pages of the web sites and any associated areas. This position focuses on the functional aspect and not the design side of the sites including forms, partner implementation, and the “lender facing” elements.

Qualified candidates will have development experience across all phases of the systems development life cycle. Experience with ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, IIS and Windows 2000 on large-scale web applications is required. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work well in a team environment. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Formulates plan-outlining steps required to develop web pages, using structured analysis and design: Submits plans to user for approval.
  • Plans, develops, tests, and documents web pages and graphics: Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify page functional objectives.
  • Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop pages that meet user requirements.
  • Develops web pages to accomplish goals of user request.
  • Converts project specifications or requests, consisting of written summaries, flowcharts and diagrams, into sequence of web pages, forms, and connectivity to XML/XSL templates.
  • Enters HTML, XSL or XML into computer system.
  • Replaces, deletes or modifies HTML, XML, or XSL to correct errors.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and alters web pages and graphics to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Assists users to solve operating problems with web site.
  • Recreates steps taken by user to locate web page problems and rewrites pages to correct errors.
  • May use software design tools to assist in the creation and design of some pages.
  • May input specialized tagged HTML into database environments for deployment.
  • May install and test web site as user site.
  • May monitor performance of web site after implementation.
  • May specialize in developing pages for business or technical applications.
  • May be required to do small scale SQL database research and reporting

    Skills / Knowledge Requirements:
    Professional Knowledge:

  • Ability to self-manage individual workload as assigned.
  • Complete knowledge of HTML. Must be able to “hand-code” HTML without use of any design tools.
  • Expert knowledge of XML, XSL, and XSLT.
  • Strong knowledge of ASP programming techniques, including programming logic and form creation.
  • Knowledge of web graphics creation and optimization
  • Working familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft VisualInterdev.

    Communications/Management:

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to explain web page technology to external, as well as internal, customers.
  • Ability to answer conceptual questions.
  • Ability to say no politely to external, as well as internal, customers.
  • Ability to determine urgency of a request.

    Education / Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years experience in field or related field

    Position Purpose

    The Software Engineer III position is responsible leading the design and development software initiatives within the IT organization. Duties include mentoring junior and mid-level software engineers on company’s software engineering practices, instilling solid object-oriented design and development standards and functioning as a team lead on IT projects.

    Essential Position Functions

    Principle Accountabilities

    1. Function as a team lead on various software projects. This includes conveying and instilling technical guidance to the team, writing and reviewing various technical documents and acting as a liaison between the development team and project management / senior management within the organization.

    2. Design scalable and reliable Software Systems and Services to meet the needs of the business users.

    3. Work with the Enterprise Architecture group on adhering to architectural guidelines and communicating out to the rest of the team when appropriate.

    4. Produce and review technical documentation in the form of use-cases, technical specification, white papers and API documentation.

    5. Assist in the design and development of middle and back-end applications from 1st and 3rd party vendors.

    6. Develop Application Development Standards and review team members work product to ensure that standards are being met.

    7. Provide Training to team members on the use of systems, standards and company best practices.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Utilizing a Matrix Management technique this position will lead small application development teams in implementing Systems and Services.

    Contacts

    Contacts will be made with all levels of employees within the organization. Routine contact is required with Business Users, Business Analysts, Information Technology Team Members and Company Management.

    Qualification Guidelines

    Experience / Training / Education:

  • 10+ years working with object-oriented design and development tools and languages.
  • 7+ years working with Microsoft Visual Studio 6/.NET 2003/2005.
  • 7+ years building multi-tier, distributed applications.
  • 3+ years with .NET technology and the Visual C# development language.
  • 5+ years with SQL Server design and development
  • Exceptionally strong understanding of object-oriented design and development
  • Exceptionally strong understanding and utilization of OO design patterns and practices.
  • Exceptionally strong understanding of service orientation, web-services and smart-client technology.

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to interpret and apply required policies and procedures
  • Ability to review business requirements and produce detailed design documents

    Physical and Environmental Elements:

NET Software Developer:

3. 对技术有着持久钻研热情和丰富实际开发经验者优先;
4. 精通B/S模式下的软件开发。
