NR/5G - SUL

 SUL，supplimentary uplink，简单翻译过来为补充上行的意思。

 在38.101 Table 5.2-1中，将部分Band定义为SUL。

        为什么需要引入SUL呢？

       通常，基站的最大发射功率一般大于终端的最大发射，因此下行覆盖一般要大于上行覆盖，如38.300中图B.1-1所示。

        传输损耗与载波频率成反比，因此从SUL Band选取的频率范围来看，都是低于2GHz。

        SUL和NR UL的配置一样，同样包含Initial  UL BWP以及ULBwpList。

         SUL与NR UL并不是理解为上行载波聚合，一般网络会根据终端的测量值，在低于某个门限时候选择SUL载波发送。例如，随机接入过程中PRACH载波的选择，使用RSRP测量值与门限进行比较来确定载波。对于PDCCH order触发的随机接入，在DCI中指示载波。

        对于PUCCH，在38.331中有如下说明，只会在UL和SUL中的一个载波上配置pucch-Config，如果配置的话。

• pucch-Config

PUCCHconfiguration for one BWP of the normal UL or SUL of a serving cell. If the UEis configured with SUL, the network configures PUCCH only on the BWPs of one of the uplinks (normal ULor SUL). The network configures PUCCH-Configat least on non-initial BWP(s) for SpCell and PUCCH SCell. If supported by theUE, the network may configure at most one additional SCell of a cell group withPUCCH-Config (i.e. PUCCH SCell).

If one (S)UL BWP of aserving cell is configured with PUCCH, all other (S)UL BWPs must be configuredwith PUCCH, too.

       对于PUSCH，在DCI format 0-0和DCI format 0-1中，有1比特UL/SUL indicator指示（如果存在），来确定PUSCH的发送载波。

      38.212中对于1比特UL/SUL indicator field是否存在及载波的确定，还根据配置分了一些场景。

DCI format 0-0

•         Temporary C-RNTI

        如果配置了UL和SUL， 并且DCI format 1-0在添加padding比特之前的payload size大于DCI format 0-0添加padding比特之前的payload size，则存在1比特UL/SUL indicator。但是即使有1比特存在其含义也是reserved，因为此时Temporary C-RNTI DCI format 0-0调度的是Msg3的重传，同Msg3初始传输的载波同PRACH载波。

A SCS for the PUSCH transmission is provided by subcarrierSpacing in BWP-UplinkCommon. A UE transmits PRACH and the PUSCH on a same uplink carrier of a same serving cell.

•       C-RNTI

       如果在ServingCellConfig中配置了supplementaryUplink，并且DCIformat 1-0在添加padding比特之前的payload size大于DCI format 0-0添加padding比特之前的payload size，则存在1比特UL/SUL indicator，否则不存在UL/SUL indicator field。

       1) UL/SULindicator field存在，但是UL/SUL中都没有配置pusch-config，那么UE忽略该field，在配置了pucch-config的载波上发送；

        2) PUSCH UL/SUL indicator field不存在，在配置了pucch-config的载波上发送PUSCH；

     3) UL/SULindicator field不存在，PUSCH发送载波同最近的PRACH发送载波；

       4) 其他，参照UL/SULindicator field指示选择载波；

DCI format 0-1

       如果在ServingCellConfig中没有配置supplementaryUplink，则无UL/SUL indicator field；

     如果在ServingCellConfig中配置了supplementaryUplink，但是只有pucch-config对应的载波上配置了PUSCH发送，那么也无UL/SUL indicator field；

   其他情况，存在1比特UL/SUL indicator field；
