Many people like to decorate the houses at Christmas time. They decorate the inside of the house and the outside two. Inside, they place a decorating Christmas tree and dress the fireplace, if they have one. Outside they place wreaths, ribbons and colored light on the door and windows. If there is a tree in front of the house, the place colored light on it too.

In New York city, there is a very tall, beautifully decorated Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center at Christmas time.In Washington, there is also a big decorate tree in front of white house. People come from many cities to admire the trees and gaily decorated store windows on the principle avenues of large cities.
