Collaborating on a Form

There are several ways to work collaboratively on records. Learn how to use collaboration tools on the form.

  

Activity Stream

A. Activity stream - Shifts focus to the activity stream on the current form, where you can view recent updates and add comments. This icon is visible only on forms that contain activity streams.

 

 

Comments and Work Notes

Many types of tasks have journal fields to track comments and work notes.

A. Comments - Comments are public. They can be viewed by customers.

B. Work notes - Work notes are visible to internal users only. They are highlighted with yellow indicators.

C. @mention - Provide additional visibility to another user. Entering their name allows them to see the record. 

 

 

Talking About a Record

A. Email - Send an email about the current record. 

B. Follow - Follow the current record in Connect Chat. 

C. Open in Connect Chat - Open the current record in a chat mini window or the full-screen view of Connect Chat.
