build physical standby steps

简单的列了一下清单：

1 enable force logging;

  alter database force logging;
2 add standby logfile on the primary for maximize protection and maximize availability
3 create the same password file
4 set following the intial parameters :
  DB_NAME
DB_UNIQUE_NAME
CONTROL_FILES
LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG
LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n
LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_STATE_n
REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE
LOG_ARCHIVE_MAX_PROCESSES =integer
LOG_ARCHIVE_FORMAT
FAL_SERVER
FAL_CLIENT
DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT
LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT
STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT


5 enable archiving on the primary database


6 create backup copy of the primary database
6 create controfile for the standby database 
  alter database create standby controlfile as 'E:\standby\ctl.bak';


7 prepare the standby parameter file
8 copy the backup of the primary ,standby controlfile and password file to the standby
  or you can create the passwword file with the same password of sys on the standby
9 new a instance on windows
10 configure the listener and corresponding net service
11 create the spfile for the standby
12 restore and recover the standby from the backup copy of the primary

13 startup mount the standby

    

14start the redo apply

 when the primary starts to transfer log ,the RFand MRP process would be started

15 test the standby if it works fine
