Dialog: Make a phone call

You are the one to be reached:
A: Hello, Is John there? / May I speak to John please?
B: This is John speaking. /This is he(she).

You are not the one to be reached:

A: Do you know when he will be back?

It ‘s right around the corner. 就在那角落里。

It is just down this way. 从这条通道走下去就行。

独立的问句：
Where is the security? （倒装语序，谓语is 提到主语前）
问句在整个句子中做从句（问句是know的宾语）：
Do you know where the security is? （正常语序，is 在主语后面）
如：
Where is she?
I do not know where she is.

When will they come?
I wonder when they will come.

K: I am Kevin. It is nice to meet you.

K: Here’s my business card. It has my email address on it.

S: Thanks.

 

K: It was a pleasure meeting you. I’ll see you later.

S: You too. See you.

Keys:

刚见面用: to meet you (不定时to 一般有表将来的意思)

见完面用: meeting you （分词一般表状态，或者完成的事情；注意时态是过去时，因为见完了）

 

YOU TOO 主要用于 回答别人的祝福，表示你也怎么怎么样......
ME TOO 主要用于 同意别人所说之类，表示我也怎么怎么样......

It’s no big deal. 没什么大不了的。

Don’t worry about it. 别太在意。
