the default lep-echo-failure time was set to 4, and the lcp-echo-interval was 30s.
so if without having signal echo-reply from the ASDL, Ubuntu will cut the net off and restart it.
Solution as follows:
sudo gedit /etc/ppp/options，and set lcp-echo-failure time to 30 or more
