①它的本意是“下去，下降，下沉”：

He went down on his knees and begged for forgiveness.
他双膝跪倒请求原谅。

②也可以形容价格、气温下降：

③而在很多考试中，会考到“（计算机系统）出故障，死机”这个含义：
