我想谈谈我和奶奶一起制作手工剪纸的经历。去年春节，她打算用剪纸装饰我们的房子。我当时正好有空，决定帮助她，同时学习这门民间艺术。
我奶奶现在八十多岁了。她从小就非常喜欢剪纸。而且她还在上高中学习剪纸课程。所以不得不说，她剪纸的技术相当娴熟。例如，她只用了几分钟就剪了两只蝴蝶。这对她来说看起来很容易，但我们都知道剪纸比看起来要困难得多。她似乎有一双神奇的手。我根本跟不上她的步伐。所以她开始教我一些剪最简单的花形剪纸的技巧。
在她教我的时候，我把一张正方形的红纸对折了好几次。然后我在上面画了一个图像，沿着线小心地剪下来，当我展开这张纸时，它看起来真的像一朵花。然后我又用更复杂的方式剪了几个。然而，这并不像我想象的那么容易。好吧，当你需要剪出很多小块时，事情不会按照你的方式进行，而且不耐烦往往会令人毛骨悚然。努力工作了大约 20 分钟后，我开始想起“这将永远持续下去”之类的想法。我忍不住摇了摇脚，开始感到烦躁和沮丧。

I’d like to talk about a time I created handmade paper cuttings with my grandma. Last Spring Festival, she planned to decorate our houses with paper cuttings. I happened to be free at the time and decided to help her out as well as learn this folk art.
My grandma is in her eighties now. She’s had a great liking for paper-cutting since she was a kid. And she still goes to a senior college for a paper-cutting course. So I have to say she’s pretty skilled in paper-cutting. For example, she took just a few minutes to cut two butterflies.It looked so easy for her to do that, but we all know cutting paper into an image is way more difficult than it looks. She seems to have magic hands. I couldn’t keep pace with her at all. So she started teaching me some tricks of cutting the easiest flower shaped paper- cuts.
As she taught me, I folded a square of red paper in half several times. Then I drew an image on it and cut it carefully along the line When I unfoldedl the paper, it really looked like a flower. Then I cut several more in the more complex way .However,it was not so easy as I thought.well, When you need to cut out a lot of tiny pieces,things wouldn’t be going your way ,and impatience often creeps. After working hard for like 20 minutes, I began to pick up on thoughts like, "This is going to take forever’. I couldn’t help jiggling my feet and began to feel irritated and frustrated.
I was on the brink of giving up, cuz there were too many petals waiting to be cut out, and there was not much I could do to speed up.
Then I knew it was time to surrender to the moment in front of me, and I should control and neutralize my impatience. I inhaled deeply and slowly breathed out as long as I could, and I tried to soothe my impatient thoughts by concentrating on what can be done to make it easier. Soon, I changed all the flowers into leaves. A leaf is certainly much easier to make. Then I started getting the hang of it. After we finished, we stuck t
