投稿步骤

1. 选择文章类型

Type 1: Regular article

Regular submissions must be directly relevant to Neural Networks and/or Learning Systems. Please note that Neurocomputing does NOT accept submissions on pure dynamical systems, pure control engineering, pure fuzzy logics, pure image processing or pure combination of existing algorithms, which are not directly relevant to neural networks or learning systems.

Type 2: Survey/review study

Survey/review submissions should 1) summarize recent research results on emerging topics in a well-organized way; integrate in-depth understanding of the recent advances in the area; and 3) provide insightful overview of research trends for future topics.

Type 3: Tutorial/case study

Tutorial (or case study) submissions are solicited from by reputed authors who would 1) offer insight into conceptual and methodological aspects of Neurocomputing research; 2) showcase successful applications of state-of-the-art theories/algorithms; and 3) provide some help/guidance on approaches to conducting high-quality research in the area.

Type 4: Replication study

Submissions reporting on replications of previous studies (published within Neurocomputing and other major journals) are welcome. These submissions should describe close, clear and valid replications of the original methodology.

Type 5: Software publication

Software publications are to disseminate existing and useful software in the areas of neural networks and learning systems that contain non-trivial contributions related to the implementations of algorithms, toolboxes, and real systems, where the software must adhere to a recognized legal license.

Type 6: Special issue article

These are manuscripts submitted to an ongoing special issue. You should select the article type of “VSI: XYZ” where XYZ is the abbreviation of the special issue name.

Type 7: Editorial preface for VSI

These are the editorial prefaces for special issues from guest editors. In this case, you should also select the Category “Special Issue” at the category selection step that follows.

If the answer is “Yes”, please mention in the cover letter to the EIC confirming that this journal submission is a significantly extended version of the conference paper and confirming that the main difference is more than 40%. • Software co-submission
  This journal encourages and enables you to share software that supports your research publication where appropriate, and enables you to interlink the software and data with your published article. You have the option to convert your open source software into an additional journal publication in Software Impacts, a multi-disciplinary open access journal that provides a scholarly reference to software that has been used to address a research challenge. It ensures that your software is actively reviewed, curated, formatted, indexed, given a DOI and publicly available to all upon publication. You are encouraged to submit your article to Software Impacts as an additional item If your research article is accepted. Please note an open access fee of 250 USD is payable for publication in Software Impacts. Full details can be found on the Software Impacts guide for authors.
