NR UE Channel Bandwidth

1. Basics

• UL Channel Bandwidth(BW) is the channel BW what UE, not BS, is used for UL/DL carrier transimission.
• Terminology
  • Channel BW [MHz]
  • Transmission Bandwidth Configuration N_RB [RB]
  • Transmission Bandwitdh [RB]
  • Guardband

2. Maximum transimission bandwidth configuration

I would like to directly show the table from Spec.

3. Minimum guardband of transmission configuration

The gaurdband is the remainder of channel BW that gets rid of configured transmission BW, located at either end of whole channel BW.
The equation for guardband calculation is

(BW~Channel~ x 1000 (kHz) - N~RB~ x SCS x 12) / 2 **- SCS/2**

PS: can anyone tell me why - SCS/2 ? (okay, I guess it means the center freq. of the 1st and last subcarrier)
