答案解析：这道题主要考察treatment与cure的同义替换。题干问的是“能够治疗___与其他健康问题”，由此推断空上应该填一种具体的疾病，锁定indigestion。

关于address有没有强调的意思

这个词用得很频繁。《芝加哥手册》里也用得很多。我看过的各类手册、指南书里，印象中只有《经济学人手册》建议少用这个词。书里说address的意思是“answer, deal with, attend to, look at”。（The Economist Styleguide, p. 36.)

下面内容来自Garner's Modern English Usage （p. 75）。建议大家用更具体明确的词来表达自己的意思。

 可以看到 address有强调的意思，但是很少，此处的考法是deal with 处理的意思

4. 虚拟语气的坑

　　我们再来看一道虚拟语气出现在题干中的题目。剑13 Test 4 Section 1 Alex thinks he should have done the diploma in __________. Should have done表示本应该做而未做的事，在听力原文中女生Martha首先说 “Did you get a diploma at the end of your trainee period? I’m hoping to do the one in business skills”.这里看起来跟Alex没有任何关系，然而紧接着Alex说 “Yes. That sounds good. I took the one on IT skills but I wish I’d done that one instead.” 可能很多同学会填IT skills，但是IT skills是他已经修了的课程，在but之后的半句话I wish I had done 是指他希望他修的课程，这道题难度较大，因为还要记住that one指的是什么前面女生所说的business skills。

搜索答案的关键词 ：assumptions (about intelligence) influence behaviour。其实在做阅读题目的时候也可以用到我们阅读原文的时候所使用的提炼主干的方法。在题目比较长的情况下，如果搜寻答案的时候记不住题目本身的内容是什么，可以记住题目的主干。这样记忆比较快，搜寻起来也会相对容易一些。

我们搜索答案的时候，一般是从第一段开始向后寻找。不要跳来跳去地寻找，容易乱。带着这个关键词，我们先看A段。A段主要讲了intelligence的定义：“Looked at in one way, everyone knows what intelligence is; looked at in another way, no one does. ”以及“There are at least four reasons peopled conceptions of intelligence matter.”为什么因人而异的intelligence的概念很重要。所以A段不是我们要寻找的部分。

B段的开头很明显：“First, implicit theories of intelligence drive the way in which people perceive and evaluate their own intelligence and that of others.”

implicit theory是“unconscious notions (A段)”，人们自己都没有意识到的预设，与题目中的assumptions对应。

题目中的influence behavior体现在“drive the way in which people perceive and evaluate”。因此本题选择B很明确。

会出现搜名词搜不到的情况， non-scientists' 这个名词在文中根本没有出现过，所以利用段落中心思想去定位也是一个不错的方法。
