The New text file option missing in the new context menu

Yesterday I did some change to the windows registry, today I found when I right click mouse, cannot new a text file, this new text file option is missing, how strange, googled, found one solution to restore the default menu items, the website information address is as:

after restore the windows registry of the .txt item, the new text file option comes back again.
The scripts will modify the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.txt\ShellNew] value and put the “NullFile”=”” as null, it seems some other actions were taken, you can find the detail in the registry scripts.
