Running program in the background

Running program in the background:

1. nohup <command> &;

e.g[1]+ Stopped startWebLogic.sh

[oracle@oardc-vm15 admin]$ 

 

 

nohup startWebLogic.sh &

 

 

 

2. <command>, then interaction with <command> such as provide user and password. after the interaction finished, the press CTRL+Z and input bg then <enter>

 

 e.g.

 

 

[oracle@oardc-vm15 admin]$ startWebLogic.sh
