sidewide post shows all post except post on blog one

Problem  :

When buddpress is installed on wordpress-mu?

Usually we will configure the home page with widget if you are using buddypress defualt theme.

There is a sidewide post widget which in charge of showing new post on top page.

Sometimes we don't want to show some post from one special blog(say blog one)

 

Solutions :

All the activities includeing new post are stored in a table called wp_bp_activity.

In this table there is a column called item_id which shows the blog ID of the post.

 

there is a function called  bp_get_activity_item_id   (bp-activity-templatetags.php) which can get this item_id

In the page that shows the content,add the code below:

<?php   if  (bp_get_activity_item_id()<> 1 ): ?>

// show code here

<?php   endif ; ?>
