catalog库配置

如何创建rman的catalog库？

1、数据库级别创建catalog表空间rman_tbs

SQL>create tablespace rman_tbs datafile '/rman/rman_tbs.dbf'

          size 500M autoextend on;

          rman catalog的表空间最好配置为autoextend on ;否则注册时候容易报错ora-01658无法为表空间的段创建initial区。

2、创建rman访问catalog库的用户并配置rman_tbs为默认表空间，无限配额

SQL>create user catalu identified by catalp default tablespace rman_tbs quta unlimited on rman_tbs;

3、给用户授权recovery_catalog_owner

SQL>grant recovery_catalog_owner to catalu;

SQL>select * from dba_sys_privs where grantee='recovery_catalog_owner';

4、使用该用户登录catalog库，向rman注册该表空间rman_tbs

SQL>!rman target / catalog catalu/catalp

.........

RMAN>create catalog tablespace rman_tbs;

5、向catalog库注册该database id

RMAN>register database;
