How to fix Error: Failed to download metadata for repo ‘appstream‘: Cannot prepare internal mirrorli

Step 1:

[root@MaxwellDBA home]# cd /etc/yum.repos.d/

Step2 :

[root@MaxwellDBA yum.repos.d]# sed -i 's/mirrorlist/#mirrorlist/g' /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-*
[root@MaxwellDBA yum.repos.d]# sed -i 's|#baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org|baseurl=http://vault.centos.org|g' /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-*

Step3:

[root@MaxwellDBA yum.repos.d]# wget -O /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo https://mirrors.aliyun.com/repo/Centos-vault-8.5.2111.repo

Step4:

[root@MaxwellDBA yum.repos.d]# yum clean all
Repository extras is listed more than once in the configuration
Invalid configuration value: failovermethod=priority in /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-epel.repo; Configuration: OptionBinding with id "failovermethod" does not exist
44 files removed

Step5:
