when login as a normal user, some times have to change some files.

however it meed root permission.

 

when it at terminal, and used "su root" to switch user,

some times we dunt know the password.

 

the command to change the root password, even though user dunt know the password.

sudo passwd root

 

then it ask u to change them XML password(somethings like that)

and retype it.

 

well that not means the user can login as the root.

user have to go to Computer-etc-gdm-dgm.conf

 

find "AllowRoot ", change the stuts to "true "
