# HTML Window source

## Rationale

This add-on is mostly for add-on developers. The main window is

actually three HTML pages on top of each other. This add-on allows you

to see the HTML source of those pages.

## Usage

In the main window, choose "Cards">"View XXXX" to show the HTML code

of X.

Alt+F3 show you the source code of the middle of the page. The part

containing either the list of decks, a deck name, or the content of a

card.

As add-ons are programs downloaded from the internet, they are

potentially

malicious. You should only download add-ons you trust.

To download this add-on, please copy and paste the following code

into Anki 2.1:

I needed this while troubleshooting a template I'm designing and it works very well with Anki 2.1.40. It's a shame it can't be invoked from a Browse > Preview window (unless I overlooked something), but it's no big deal really. Thanks a lot. :)

Not compatible with Cookie Monster? With Cookie Monster enabled, your add-on dosen't show correct html content. Could you fix it? Thanks.

I finally found out why my style wasn’t apply thanks to you.

The card html tree is : .card .card1 > #qa > (the user card HTML). I was missing #qa to correctly apply flex layout.
