A: Adriana, you look as fresh as summer's day today.

B: Thanks Helli, That was very poetic.

A: I know, I've been reading some lovely poetry and all these words and descriptions are stuck in my head.

B: I enjoy poetry too. I recently did a class on figures of speech. You just used a simile, didn't you?

A: Did I? I didn't notice. What's a simile?

B: It's a figure of speech where you compare two things using the words "like" or "as". There're others, would you like me to teach you more?

A: That would be great, thanks.
