mysql安装install时_mysql5.1编译安装后mysql_install_db时出错的解决

[root@master mysql5.1]# bin/mysql_install_db --user=mysql

Installation of system tables failed!  Examine the logs in

/usr/local/mysql5.1/var for more information.

You can try to start the mysqld daemon with:

shell> /usr/local/mysql5.1/libexec/mysqld --skip-grant &

and use the command line tool /usr/local/mysql5.1/bin/mysql

to connect to the mysql database and look at the grant tables:

shell> /usr/local/mysql5.1/bin/mysql -u root mysql

mysql> show tables

Try 'mysqld --help' if you have problems with paths.  Using --log

gives you a log in /usr/local/mysql5.1/var that may be helpful.

看红色字体部分，无法识别的选项，说明在my.cnf中该选项不被识别，应该注释掉。我注释掉该选项后问题便解决了
