The article describes the case of a 34-year-old woman who developed bone pain, diarrhoea and fever while being treated with dasatinib for chronic myeloid leukaemia. Previously, she was treated with interferon-α but she developed hypothyroidism and depression. The drug was stopped and she was given imatinib but she suffered from haemotological toxicity. A switch to dasatinib was made by she developed fever, bone pain and diarrhoea. The drug was stopped and eventually was readministered at a reduced dosage.
