Abstract

The cell phone is the most popular terminal device that can be

embedded with Java. J2ME is the popular developing platform of cell

phone software provided by SUN Microsystems. With the release of

MIDP 2.0, especially the newly added GameAPI, game producer can

concentrate more on game performance. And it is valuable to develop

and research cell phone game. The main task of this project is to

develop a cell phone game –“Lian Liankan” with Eclipse and MIDP

platform. According to ordinary form of cell phone game, the author

has finished the development of the game. The final game system has

friendly user interface and it can run fluently. The desired

objectives are achieved completely. Based on J2ME and other

concerned tools and techniques, the paper focused on system

requirements analysis, general design frame and function

implementation.
