This film tells a story about Arthur and his fellow warriors, who fight for their

freedom. They are best warriors, however, whose ancestors make a promise with Roman

Empire that their sons would lose freedom for a period to be the Roman soldiers. The final

mission taken by the bishop from Roman is that they are asked to rescue a best student of

pope who tends to be the next pope in the future from the manor of Samatian. Arthur leads his

fellows accomplish this task, during the process, they find that the Roman Christian Church

which they believe does not like what they imagine. When they are free from the Roman

Christian Church, the Samatians are ready to attack the village where their allies are

defending. However, they do fight not only for their own freedom, but also the former

enemies, the presenting friends, actually they have no relationship with these people.

Although Arthur

’

s friends have already gotten ready to leave for the yearning place, last but

not least, they are back to the battlefield to fight with Arthur shoulder by shoulder. Then, even

though they defeat the Samatians, they also pay a heavy price for the winning. Unluckily,

Arthur

’

s best friend dies in the war. As a result, Arthur becomes the local king in charge of

protecting the local people.

This film impresses me most is their belief of freedom and love, and reveals the dim past

of medieval history under the dominance of pope. At beginning, Arthur and his friends fight

for their own freedom, nevertheless, but later, they still fight in order to protect the innocent

people from being killed or enslaved. What they do emerge their belief of love and freedom,

because they can evade this problem to enjoy the life what they have expected over 15 years,

however, they choose to

protect

the people without

hesitation. Nowadays, while we do not

have the global war or crisis, there are some kinds of people who always do compress to the

common

people.

These

men

enjoy

a

great

deal

of

resource

from

the

society

but

without

paying the equivalent.

I

will

introduce

this

film

to

my

friends,

because

it

tells

a

truth

that

no

matter

what

standard of living people are in, freedom are always the first thing they will chase. Further, it

shows the love among different groups of people, even though they hated each other before,

love can cure the scars by hurting, and let them become a united team to defend the enemies.
