1. Definition

WPF: Windows Presentation Foundation. A graphical subsystem to render user interfaces in Windows operating system. It is based on XAML.

XAML: Extensible Application Markup Language. A declarative markup language for UI creation in .NET framework. Extension in .xaml and encoded in UTF-8

2. Difference between WPF and Windows Form

WPF separates the code for UI from the logic code of the application. UI creation could be developed independently.
