mysql更改密码时1064_mysql 修改root密码提示1064语法错误问题解决

学习php初始，了解到数据库MySQL，笔者在安装过程中发现，mysql 修改root密码时总是提示1064语法错误，

1064语法错误提示如下

首先使用

[code]mysql> set password for root@localhost = password('123');

语句修改root密码，出现错误提示如下

[code]mysql> set password for root@localhost = password('123456');

ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that

corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near'password('123456')' at line 1

把password改为authentication_string后，发现还是提示错误

[code]mysql> update user set authentication_string=password("123456") where user="root";

ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that

corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '("123456") where user="root"' at line 1

mysql>

不解，遂采用

[code]mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '12345678';

OK，完成

[code]mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '12345678';

Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.13 sec)

经测试使用

[code]SET PASSWORD = '123';

也是OK的

[code]mysql> SET PASSWORD = '123';

Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.14 sec)
