javafx text 显示html,JavaFX HTMLEditor isn't showing text

I'm trying to use the JavaFX HTMLEditor (javafx.scene.web.HTMLEditor) but it isn't displaying the set text, and it isn't returning modified text.

I am setting the text with .setHtmlText(...), but when displayed, it shows nothing. No matter what text I then put in, that (with HTML/head/body wrappers) is what I get back, not the entered text. Even though what I'm getting back isn't what's displayed.

This is in a dialog controller, with the declaration in an fxml. (Probably doesn't matter, but Java seems pretty arcane these days.)

Any ideas?
