问题

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

nvidia-smi无法加载显卡驱动，导致原因：关机重启linux内核升级导致驱动无法匹配连接

解决

  1. 以管理员权限sudo -s输入密码进入服务器

  2. 执行命令apt-get install dkms在这里插入图片描述

  3. 查看本机连不上的驱动版本ls -l /usr/src/注意这个红框里的版本号

  4. 使用dkms安装适合的驱动版本dkms install -m nvidia -v 535.161.07在这里插入图片描述

再次输入nvidia-smi发现解决问题

则根据之前看到的grub版本,如果大于等于2.00,则把上面第三个单引号内的字符串复制粘贴.否则把第二个单引号内的字符串复制粘贴，本来好好的，突然出现这个问题一般是内核自动更新，导致内核版本与显卡驱动不匹配的问题，解决办法最好是把内核版本降到之前的版本。如果已经变成你想要改的内核版本,则继续,否则检查是否忘了sudo update-grub或者grub修改错误。注意看清楚是第二个单引号和第三个单引号内的内容！找到更新后的内核名字（一开始记住的内核版本信息），删除该内核。修改为刚才复制的内容。
