How to install .deb package?

Answer

In a word: Install your filename.deb file with $ sudo dpkg -i filename.deb. If there are some errors with unresolved dependencies, run $ apt-get install -f afterwards.

Follow this procedure to make it:

Step1: Download .deb file

baidunetdisk_linux_3.0.1.2.deb

Step2: Change directory to the download folder

$ cd Downloads

Step3: Install

Command: $ sudo dpkg -i <filename>

Record:

$ sudo dpkg -i baidunetdisk_linux_3.0.1.2.deb
[sudo] password for shane: 
Selecting previously unselected package baidunetdisk.
(Reading database ... 188730 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack baidunetdisk_linux_3.0.1.2.deb ...

Step4: Check result

Open the program to check if there is any error.
For me, the result is okay, so this step is the end.

Step5: Error fixing (if check failed)

If there are some errors with unresolved dependencies, run $ apt-get install -f afterwards
