14.3 P- Does the documented qualification program for operators and inspectors include periodic training and certification at defined frequencies to ensure that operators and inspectors maintain qualification?YES/NO

14.5 C- Is there evidence that operators and inspectors have a current IPC/WHMA-A-620 issued certificate?YES/NO

Audit Note: The auditor shall ensure the certificate contains the relevant modules when compared to the scope of accreditation.

14.6C- Is there evidence that all work completed by uncertified operators/inspectors is verified by a certified operator/inspector?YES/NO

14.7C- Is there evidence that operators and inspectors have been trained to the requirements of the qualification program? YES/NO

Audit Note: The auditor should look for mentor or CIT signoff / approval, at minimum, and any other artifact of the qualification program, as required (e.g. samples or completed logs retained from training).

14.8 C- If customer specific requirements are flowed down, is there evidence that operators and inspectors are aware of these specific requirements?YES/NO/NA

Audit Note: The auditor should determine at least one specific customer requirement and ask the operators and inspectors specific questions to test the adequacy of the training program to flow these requirements down. For example, if a customer specifies that no wire damage is acceptable (a “better than” requirement compared to Class 2 of IPC/WHMA-A-620), then the operators should know the difference when they manufacture that customer’s hardware.
