Could you please briefly introduce the project - Goons of Balatroon ?

We are seeking to build a deep AAA gaming ecosystem. Our flagship product is a fast paced and exciting Play to earn, trading card game. We believe games such as Magic the gathering, hearthstone, yugioh, and pokemon defined a generation and seek to produce a high quality, fun to play, rewarding gaming experience. Our deep ecosystem has something for everyone. Our project has collection achievements for cards, on the roadmap, NFT staking, a trading card game in beta, an upcoming token TGE, and an upcoming land mint, that will enhance staking. We also plan to incorporate scholar/NFT leasing functionality as well. Our project is very complex and exciting!

3、Compared to other GameFi projects, what are your highlights?

We have put careful thought into our gaming ecosystem. By launching with one token we are able to protect its value and avoid the standard P2E token death spiral. We seek to onboard traditional web 2 natives by allowing for traditional email account logins, allowing users not familiar with crypto wallets to easily participate. Many NFT games are very simple and many NFT enthusiasts complain that P2E games simply aren’t fun. By focusing on fun first, and building the play to earn model second, we give users a real reason to play our game.

What’s the current progress of Goons of Balatroon? What are the plans for the future?

Right now there is a lot to be excited about for the project. Our token TGE is on the 31st of August, our NFT land sale is on the 24th, and our trading card game is in beta for holders of our NFT, and our players are absolutely having a ton of fun! We look to continue to expand the game and add more utility to the ecosystem. Further ahead we will add more games and more experiences as we seek to become a premier gaming ecosystem!

Introduce the economic mechanism of the Goons of Balatroon project and information about the GOB token？
The $GOB token will be used as the utility, reward, and governance token for the project’s circular economy. It has a supply of 750,000,000 and no token taxes. This is not a meme token, it is a serious token for a serious project! Players will earn the token from playing the game and holders of our NFTs also yield the $GOB token as well, passively.

Last year, we saw a lot of GameFi projects fall into a "death spiral." How do you guys solve this problem?

As mentioned above we aren’t splitting our token in two, as many projects do. For example in Axie, tokens were used to breed axies, in order to earn more tokens. Very quickly the amount of minted tokens grew far larger than tokens burned in breeding. Our reward rate is tied to our Goon Avatar NFTs and our token is used to buy cards, and numerous other ecosystem utilities as well as governance, because of this, we avoid the massive token supply inflation of other projects.

How to participate in your land pre-sale?What are the uses of the land? What rights do landholders have in the future?

You can go to our website to gain access to the whitelist. Owning a Goon NFT also grants access to the pre-sale. Land is our ecosystem economic share asset. It will also allow users to stake $GOB tokens to increase their yield. Goon NFTs can be linked to land to increase the reward rate further. Goon holders who don’t own land can link to a landowners NFT and the owner of the land gains a share. There is also an autochess game tied to the land NFTs that will continue to be built and expanded with even more ways to earn and use the $GOB token.

Potentially no time at all! Our game is open as free to play! Free to play players will earn 1x rewards, while holders of our NFT will earn 10x rewards. Holders of our NFT have already earned more tokens than the mint value of their NFT, when you compare the price of $GOB to its $0.05 TGE price, and were able to use these tokens to mint land, as well. Goon Avatar NFTs are able to yield 10 $GOB per day and each Goon Avatar can mint a full body NFT free +gas, that not only yields 10 $GOB per day, but also provides a bonus to token yields when both NFTs are held in the same wallet!

Since the beginning of this year, the crypto market has actually been sluggish. How do you plan to attract more users to participate?

We actually delayed our TGE! We were going to launch a month before, but we decided to delay and our decision was a wise one, as ETH sold off to below $1,000 and BTC went below 20k. By delaying we have targeted a much stronger market and are in talks with very high profile exchanges. Of course we are also looking to speak with as many communities as possible, market strongly, and of course build our game to be fun and something many people want to play and experience!

What is your prediction for the next GameFi track? What advice do you have for ordinary users?

It is very clear that users are tired of boring play to earn games. The sentiment is overwhelming, users want to have fun in crypto and NFT games. Most current GameFi projects are either too early in their development cycle, for the most complex games, or are too simply or unfun. By focusing on fun and adding play to earn on top of a very enjoyable game we hope to gain the attention not just of crypto enthusiasts and NFT gamers, but also traditional gamers! Though I can’t give any financial advice I would say it is important to look at GameFi from an enjoyment perspective. NFT gaming gives real power back to gamers and while it is a slow process of adopting traditional gamers into NFT gaming it is certainly something we are planning and strategizing for!
