C: speed

This equation shows energy will be getting bigger and bigger with the increase of speed. which will aslo leads to the increase of mass. As we known, in order to increase the speed, we need to give more energy. 

The final conclusion says, an item with mass property cannot reach the speed of light, since we need infinite energy to do that.
