This one-day course is aimed at those who are required to act as an
independent, impartial person helping two or more individuals or groups reach a
solution that's acceptable to everyone. If you want to  develop the skills,
knowledge and attitudes used by mediators to talk to both sides separately or
together, not make judgments or determine outcomes, be able to ask questions
that help to uncover underlying problems, assist the parties to understand the
issues and help them to clarify the options for resolving their differences and
disputes, then this practical and effective workshop is ideal.

When and where?
LONDON ? January 16 2014 at the Highgate Road Chapel, Chetwynd Road, London NW5
1BU. The venue is a 10 minute walk, up Highgate Road, after turning right out
of Kentish Town tube, on the Northern line, or, overland to Gospel Oak, a 5
minute walk up Gordon House Road, after turning left out of the station.
MANCHESTER ? November 06 2013 at Touchbase Manchester Central, 7-11 Mosley
Street, Manchester M2 3DW. The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Piccadilly and
Victoria, or, if you prefer, it is a 2 minute walk from St. Peter's Square
Metrolink, which is two stops on from Piccadilly.
BRISTOL ? January 29 2014 at the Create Centre, Smeaton Road, Bristol BS1 6XN.
The venue is situated around two miles from Bristol Temple Meads, and the 506
bus leaves the station to Create every 30 minutes, otherwise a taxi might be a
quicker alternative.
We start at 10am (with free refreshments from 9.45am) and finish by 4pm.
How much?
Just L119 per person if you pay by card when you book. Or L139 if you pay
later. You can also add these optional extras: lunch for L12.99, training

influence, negotiate and seek consensus between parties
?       Reaching agreement, or the best alternative, to a negotiated agreement
[BATNA]
