Ubuntu repository
You can use this Ubuntu repository for installing Tano and VLC-Qt:
For current Ubuntu releases:
$ add-apt-repository ppa:ntadej/tano
For LTS releases:
$ add-apt-repository ppa:ntadej/tano-lts
These PPAs may contain backports of various applications and libraries that are required for Tano and/or VLC-Qt.
Users who want use clean installation without backports can use:
$ add-apt-repository ppa:ntadej/tano-clean
Users who want to test unstable releases can add:
$ add-apt-repository ppa:ntadej/tano-daily
Installation
Install Tano or VLC-Qt using your package manager or using command line:
$ apt-get install tano
$ apt-get install libvlc-qt0 libvlc-qt0-dbg libvlc-qt-dev
You might need administrative privileges for configuration and installation.
