新一代与Cloud Foundry

做PaaS，Cloud Foundry是最好的对标项目之一，遗憾的是，Cloud Foundry动作太慢，Pivotal动作太慢，对于一个2013年才成立的公司来说，这真是一种未老先衰的感觉。

但是不管怎样，Cloud Foundry依然是PaaS里最重要的开源项目，一举一动都值得关注，下面是Cloud Foundry V4 Roadmap的猜想（来源为http://www.cloudcredo.com/the-evolution-of-cloud-foundry/）：

1. Cloud Foundry becomes a platform for development/lifecycle of apps and other primitives rather than just staging/running applications
2. Concourse (or similar view) pipelines become the primary entry point for creating lifecycles.
3. Unit/functional/performance/security testing are all available inside Cloud Foundry
4. Netflix-style Cloud Native tooling becomes a platform concern rather than an application concern
5. Logging, tracing, and metrics are all available via the platform
6. Data services can be deployed into Cloud Foundry with their backing volumes as first-class citizens
7. Increased range of lower-level primitives (VMs, RunC, Pods/Services/RCs)

其中第1、3、4、5、6项，也是新一代的重点规划内容，依赖普元原有产品的基础，1和3可以做的很好，4、5、6还需要做很多的工作
