--Installing Eclipse

Increase the memory allocated to the JVM:

  In your eclipse.ini file, replace -Xmx256m with -Xmx1024m

--Build from console

1. Open a command line window and navigate to YOURPATH/bin/platform

a. execute

  setantenv.bat

 b. execute

  ant clean

c. The output should end with BUILD SUCCESSFUL

d. Edit hybris/config/localextensions.xml

        <extension name="admincockpit" />

        <extension name="backoffice" />

        <extension name="cockpit" />

        <extension name="hmc" />

        <extension name="mcc" />

        <extension name="platformhmc" />                                               

        <extension name="mediaconversion" /> 

e. ant all

--Import into Eclipse

  You should then see at least the platform and config projects in your Eclipse' Package Explorer

 

--Running hybris

 Start the server   hybrisserver.bat

--Initialize the system using hac

***the debug setting is on bin\platform\project.properties

     tomcat.debugjavaoptions=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,address=8000,suspend=n
