Dear Demi,
I was shocked when I received your letter complaining that the noise from my flat has been spoiling your evenings. I’m terribly sorry about that. I have no idea that you would hear that much, so I hope you will accept my apologies.
As you know, I am moving to Australia next month, so I’m packing up my baggage all these days. Since I won’t be able to take everything with me, especially some furniture, I decided to send it to my friends who might need it. Last week, some of my friends came and took the furniture they want. The noise of removing must have caused disturbance to you.
There is only one couch left and my friend will come and take it this Wednesday. I will ask him to come during the daytime when you are at work, and we will keep the noise of removing as quiet as possible.
Please allow me to say sorry again.
Yours sincerely,
Yancey
