Windows OS on my physical PC
Windows XP SP1
it works well,but don't have a Windows Firewall,so i upgraded to Windows XP SP2.

 

Windows XP SP2+Windows 2000 Advanced Server Dual OS
this two OS are mostly used until today,they are MS's masterpieces.Many users think they are the most stable and compatible OSs.

Windows Vista 5308 beta and Windows Vista 5342 beta edition
i think Vista OS's GUI is so beautiful,especially AERO effect,and i gave up Vista Released edition for it's compatibility problem.

Windows Server 2003 R2 X86 Datacenter edition
It's really a good OS for me,it can replace XP completely for daily work,i like it's stability、good performance and Classic GUI.

Windows Server 2003 R2 DC X64 Edition
This edition depressed me,many apps can't work properly and i uninstalled it immediately,i'll never use it again as my desktop OS

Windows 7 Ultimate X64 English Edition(I'm using now!)
A net friend told me this is really a good OS for users that have 4GB+ RAMS in their PCs,so i decided to have a try and it really shocked me,my pc hardwares are all recognised by

Windows 7 x64,and my third party QQ2009、Thunder and other 32bit apps can work properly.Till now it never crashed down,it's God-mode also gives me some mystique.But i think

some too old apps more or less can't work properly,that's ok,coz we can run them in Windows 7 Mode,that's a virtual machine like VMware,we can install Windows XP under Win 7

mode and run those old apps properly.

 

 

Linux OS on my physical PC
O(∩_∩)O,i remember i only have installed two Linux os edition on my physical PC,and they are China's own Linux os.
Red Flag Linux Desktop Edition
it was the first Linux OS i had ever installed,it's only for fun coz it can't take windows os's place in a certain long period,but you can experience QQ for Linux,Open Office for linux and

some other free softwares in the os,so you don't worry about software copyright.

Kylin Linux OS
it's also based on free linux code,it's GUI likes Redflag,so don't have much spotlights.but i use it to configure some Server used services.

OS in VMware Workstation
Redhat Enterprise Linux
CentOS
though this two OSs have different names,but they are based on the same Linux kernel and code.in a word,centos is based on RHEL'S and it's a enhanced RHEL edition.they are not

designed for desktop users,but for Enterprise Server use.

Ubuntu
it's a good Linux desktop OS for users,it's dizzying GUI surprises many young people and it's the most popular Linux desktop os all over the world.

Windows Server 2008 DC SP2
Though the os kernel code is based on Vista,but it's a acknowledged excellent Server os.It'll take Windows 2K3's place sooner or later,and it's Upgrade Editon---Windows Server 2008

R2 X64 also gives us some surprises.

1、内存1GB以内用户推荐使用Windows XP SP3 ,它现在已经非常成熟了,而且很稳定,不用担心软件兼容性问题,微软对其的支持可以到2014年.
2、内存2GB以内的用户可以尝试Windows 7 X86,安装完成后适当优化系统可以将开机内存使用率降到700左右,使用也还算流畅.
3、内存4GB以上的用户建议使用Windows Server 2003 SP2 X86,Windows Server 2008 SP2 X86或者Windows 7 X64 Edition,这样才能发挥大内存作用.特别注意的是Win 7 X64我觉得 

     已经可以满足很多需求了,兼容性没想像中那么差,我常用的软件基本都能运行.
4、如果想安装Windows Serve OS,一些设置和优化方面的问题直接问我好了,基本上这些系统MSDN版本我都有,而且有相应的激活patch.
