When choosing a job, the salaries is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are many factors to consider when people choose a job, while some people think that the salaries is the major factor. In my point of view, I do not agree with it.

Admittedly, salaries have an important influence on individual and families. For individual, pursuing high salaries has contribution to paying for education or home loans as soon as possible. Additionally, decent salaries make it possible for people to have more money to learn professional knowledge, which may help them achieve their values. For families, the material basis is the guarantee of quality of life, which means that if family number can find a job which have a high salary, they can improve their standard of living, affording family’s medical insurance and educational expense.

However, it does not automatically mean that salaries is the most important factors when choosing a job. Personal interests and personal goals also play a significant role in choosing a job. For example, as for those who are enthusiastic about art, they prefer to become artists even if they cannot gain high salaries, because this vocation is the way to achieve their dream instead of a tool to make money. Furthermore, some people just want to achieve their personal values by giving back to the society, regardless of the money.

Overall, a high salary job can bring some favorable influence to the life, but it is not the most important. After all, job is not just a wealth-producing tool in the world, and personal interests and personal goals could act as key factors.
