Notes: | Applicants are expected to have completed foundation units in their Bachelor degree. Students without an adequate foundation are required to complete a four-unit preliminary program before enrolling in any Master of Commerce unit. Preliminary programs are conducted by the Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT), located on the Macquarie University campus. Preliminary programs can be commenced in any SIBT trimester (February, June or October) and take four months to complete. Students who complete a preliminary program will be awarded a Graduate Certificate in Business. The total program fee for the Master of International Business and Graduate Certificate in Business is AU$26,800. The Graduate Certificate in Business consists of four standard units: Accounting 1A, Techniques and Elements of Finance, Macroeconomic Principles, and Fundamentals of Marketing. Where it is determined that a student has already adequately completed studies equivalent to one or more of these units, an elective unit can be substituted. The Master of International Business is also offered as part of a 1.5 year double degree with the Master of International Relations or Master of International Communications. | ||||||||||||||||||||
