Notes: | Students commence the program by undertaking the compulsory 13 subjects of the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting over 4 trimesters (1.5 years). They then enrol to do 6 CPA external examinations over 1 year while concurrently studying CPA support subjects at Macquarie University. At the end of the 3rd trimester of the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting students formally apply to CPA Australia with all their relevant educational qualifications and an application fee of approximately AU$300 for an assessment of their previous degree and current postgraduate study. This process can take 1-3 months. With confirmation that their previous study is recognised by CPA Australia, students complete the final trimester of the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, and then enrol in the first three CPA external units (1 core and 2 electives) and enrol in the corresponding 3 CPA support subjects at Macquarie University. |
* For courses of more than one year’s duration: For units completed in 2007, the 2007 fee will apply. For units completed in 2008 (or 2009, depending on the duration of the course), you will pay the fee approved for the 2008 (or 2009) academic year respectively. For students commencing in semester two, 2007: the 2007 fee listed will apply for your first semester of study only. The fee approved for 2008 will take effect from semester one, 2008. | |
