The restoration of old buildings in major cities in the world spends numerous government expenditures. This money should be used in new housing and road development. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

One issue that has generated a lot of public debate is whether government should allocate a lot of revenue in restoring old buildings in major cities or expanding more apartments and developing advanced roads for radical increasingly population. There is no doubt that government need to build an increasing number of housing so that ensuring people to live. However, I think it is important to restore old building because they represents ancient high level artistic and reminds people of memorable events.

The old buildings represent unique culture which make our life more diversified. People travels around the world for visiting old buildings in major cities not only for experiencing local life style, but for amazed at the difference of culture from their owns. From witnessing the spectacular old buildings, we can better understand why human could stand on the top of the world and lasts generation and generation. How about the case in continuing unique culture? Tang dynasty has a vital status in China history, but you can not see any Tang’s style building in China because posterity didn’t understand the value of these architecture. However, the best places you want to witness Tang’s building is Kyoto, for their government allocated avenue in restoring these buildings for keeping them completely. Only restoring the old buildings in major cities can cities balance modernity and historical heritage.

On the other hand, government in major city should give way to the flooding population because there is not has new housing and advanced roads for these people to pursue their dreams. It is definitely that modern housing and nice roads could appeal talented people living there. Shenzhen city appeal them with equipped with modern appliance housing and wide roads to avoid crowds.

Although major city should apply new housing and advanced roads for increasingly population, it should restore old architecture because that’s the origin of civilization.
