• RAR files in Ubuntu

  Ubuntu’s “unrar” command line utility can be directed to list an archive’s contents to the terminal, test the archive’s integrity, extract archive contents into a single directory or maintain the archive’s folders and sub-folder hierarchy in full.

  In addition, Ubuntu’s Nautilus file manager has built-in RAR file extraction capability.
