Linux下rename 和MV都能用于修改文件名,两个在语法上有一定的区别,rename可以进行文件重命名的批处理,MV除了修改文件名还可以移动文件。

rename - Rename files
SYNOPSIS
rename from to file...
DESCRIPTION
rename will rename the specified files by replacing the first occurâ
rence of from in their name by to.
For example, given the files foo1, ..., foo9, foo10, ..., foo278, the
commands
rename foo foo0 foo?
rename foo foo0 foo??
will turn them into foo001, ..., foo009, foo010, ..., foo278.
And
rename .htm .html *.htm
will fix the extension of your html files.

The backup suffix is `~', unless set with --suffix or SIMâ
PLE_BACKUP_SUFFIX. The version control method may be selected via the
--backup option or through the VERSION_CONTROL environment variable.
Here are the values:
none, off
never make backups (even if --backup is given)
numbered, t
make numbered backups
existing, nil
numbered if numbered backups exist, simple otherwise
simple, never
always make simple backups
