Production Planner Workbench

The Production Planner Workbench displays information about  material shortages物料短缺of selected jobs  in a dashboard format. This dashboard is valuable for viewing information about  multiple jobs at once. You cannot add or edit records in this tracker. 

Although this information is already available in each job,  this overview provides the job planner with a tool to quickly gather information for multiple jobs at once. 

In the Production Planner Workbench, select one or more jobs, parts, or product groups for material shortage review. For each job material from each selected job, the Epicor application compares the required quantity with the available quantity. If the available quantity is less than the required quantity, the application expects and displays a shortage of material. This information is useful for determining which jobs to reschedule and allows you to request materials to resolve the shortage. Note that the Consumed quantity field that displays the consumed quantity per component is the sum of the required quantities of all other job materials with the same part number.

Review this list for information on key features in this program. 

Parts

Use the sheets under the Parts tab to view part shortage quantities for jobs that meet the selection criteria specified in the Advanced Selection Criteria box in the Jobs sheet, or to view all parts associated with jobs that meet the specified search criteria. 

Jobs

Use the sheets under the Jobs tab to view, for the specified search criteria, jobs with part shortage quantities, jobs with full availability (no part shortage quantities) or all jobs associated with the specified search criteria. The Advanced Selection Criteria box can be used to enter the plant, job, part, description and planner criteria for which production planning information is being selected and displayed.

Use Shortage For Job sheet to view material shortage quantities for the jobs associated with the items selected in the sheets located under the Parts or Jobs tab. 

Available For Job 工单可用物料表

Use the Available For Job sheet to view only parts with available quantities for the jobs associated with the items selected in the sheets located under the Parts or Jobs tab. 

All Requirements For Job 工单所有需求

Use the All Requirements For Job sheet to view all material requirements for the jobs associated with the items selected in the sheets located under the Parts or Jobs tab. 

Shortages For Part 短缺物资

Use Shortage For Part sheet to view material shortage quantities for the parts associated with the items selected in the sheets located under the Parts or Jobs tab. 

All Requirements For Part 所有物料需求

Use the All Requirements For Part sheet to view all material requirements for the parts associated with the items selected in the sheets located under the Parts or Jobs tab.
