1.Reporting in Controlling: Overview
*The Report Writer enables you to use data fromControlling (CO) and other SAP R/3 applications in reports, and modify the reports according to your specific requirements.

*The Report Painter is similar to the Report Writer, but is easier to use.
*Drilldown reports are used in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC). This reporting tool uses characteristics to classify the data of the business transactions.

*The ABAP List Viewer standardizes and simplifies list output in the SAP R/3 system. The ABAP List Viewer is used in Controlling for line item reporting.

*The drilldown reporting functions are separated into three levels so that you can assign each user the functions that he or she requires.

Execute a report in costing-based profitability analysis for the operating concern
Choose Accounting →Controlling →Profitability Analysis → Information System →Execute Report

Choose Accounting →Controlling →Cost Center Accounting → Information System →Reports for Cost Center Accounting →Plan/Actual

Comparisons →Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance.
In this report, cost information is displayed at the cost center and cost element level

Choose Accounting →Controlling →Cost Center Accounting → Information System →Reports for Cost Center Accounting →Plan/Actual

Comparisons →Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance.
Select (by double-clicking) the Cost Centers: Actual Line Items report
choose Environment → Accounting Documents.
