Inflatable boats, the modern types of sheepskin rafts

The making of inflatable boats was inspired by ancient images of animal skins filled with air being used as one-man floats to cross rivers. They were inflated by mouth. Nowadays, the protptype of  inflatable boats , such as, sheepskin rafts, can still be found at some rural areas, which were introduced by a Chinese reality TV show, "where Are We Going, Dad?".

In the TV show, the dads and children had to cross the Yellow River with the sheepskin rafts, which were made by sheep skins. Sheepskin rafts are an ancient and simple means of transport on the Yellow River. They are a great fruit human being achieving by fighting with nature and have been recorded in Histroy of Song, known as the first drift of Yellow River.

In 1840, the English scientist Thomas Hancock designed inflatable craft by using his new method of rubber vulcanization. By 1855, there were various types of inflatable rubber boats in use made by Goodyear of the USA and the Thomas Hancock Company in the UK. They were used in various fields like transportation, travel and ministry. In military  inflatable boats  were often used to carry topedes and other cargo, as well as allow troops to land in shallow water. 

 

 

                                                                                        

 

Some modern inflatable boats have been designed to be disassembled and packed into a small volume so that they can be easily stored and transported to water when needed. When inflated the boats are kept rigid crossways by a foldable removable thwart, which allows such boats to be used as liferafts for larger boats or aircraft, and for travel or recreational purposes.

After surveying, Saturn  inflatable boats  are more popular than others in the world. They have double layer fabric at the bottom of all tubes, as well as their extra thick 1100 Dtex fabric with polyester support is a much thicker fabric than some other famous brands uses. It has made a great contribution to the development of inflatable boats.

Modern inflatable boats advance rapidly thanks to the wisdom of ancient people and the development of high technology. They are on the road of growing, so it deserves being expected.
