The motion sensor on the SkyBell can be a bit unpredictable the first time you set up the unit, depending on where you set it up and what’s in the surrounding area. For instance, if your house is close to the street or sidewalk, you may have to bump down the motion sensitivity so that people just walking by don’t trip the motion sensor.

To adjust the motion sensitivity on the SkyBell HD, start off by opening up the SkyBell app.

Once you select a setting, hit “Save” up in the top-right corner of the screen.
